Art Deco Ambience in an Annandale Photo Studio

Sevak Babakhani is a professional photographer currently based in Sydney, with over 20 years of experience in the magazine publishing industry. He regularly shoots stills, fashion and celebrity profiles for internationally renowned titles such as Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE, Grazia, Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan.

Sevak has now established himself as one of the most sought-after photographers, not only for his vast photographic expertise, but also for his art direction and creative flair. I have known Sevak for over 25 years. We met at University and have had a beautiful friendship ever since.

Sevak had purchased an old post office building in 2020 in Annandale. He decided to renovate this old place into a new photographic studio where he shoots from all day long.

He has created an art deco style in this beautiful space. Design is one of the most important aspects in this environment. Simple white walls and a beautiful Art Deco Hexagon Carrara Nero & Thassos Stone Mosaic in his bathroom floor area with black accents for tapware and shower trims. This place has a strong sense of design with a luxurious contemporary feel for all his clients to enjoy when visiting or shooting a design project.
